Als Account Manager Transportation ben je verantwoordelijk voor de lange termijn relaties met je accounts, de dealers van onze producten binnen jouw focus gebied van transportation. Je zorgt voor maximalisatie van omzet, marge en winstgevendheid bij nieuwe en bestaande accounts om gestelde commerciele doelstellingen te behalen. In nauwe samenwerking met de Sales Manager Transportation verder ontwikkel je de markt en laat deze groeien binnen de bestaande landelijke sales organisatie. Je draagt met trots het merk Milwaukee uit, focust je op de toepassingsmogelijkheden en producteigenschappen van ons assortiment.
Jouw taken
Je analyseert de activiteiten van concurrenten en geeft feedback uit de markt. Je identificeert de kansen voor bedrijfsgroei binnen de huidige en nieuwe distributiekanalen en binnen eindgebruikers en genereert samen met marketing ideeen. Hierin focus je op de ontwikkelingen, strategie, activiteiten, planning, budgettering en marketing. Samen met andere Account Managers en Product Specialisten maak je een rolverdeling en zorg je voor trainingen en verstrekking van testproducten aan dealers en eindgebruiker met als doel om je account optimaal te ondersteunen in zijn omzet- en assortimentsgroei. Je investeert veel tijd en energie in jouw klanten, stelt kritische vragen, denkt actief met hen mee en snapt wat ze nodig hebben en adviseert hen over oplossingen die wij bieden. Daarnaast houd je je actief bezig met de volgende taken:
- Actieve bewerking van klanten en uitvoeren van je marktbewerkingsplan om groei te realiseren;
- Beheren van een prospectportfolio en het bezoeken van bestaande en nieuwe klanten;
- Marktontwikkelingen in kaart brengen en op basis hiervan een jaarplan voor jouw rayon ontwikkelen;
- Wekelijks rapporteren van verkoopprognoses aan Sales Manager Transportation;
- Input bij het creeren en assisteren bij de implementatie van lokale campagnes;
- Proactieve samenwerken met andere sales collega's zoals andere Account Managers, Product Specialisten en collega's van onze Job Site Solutions, Personal Protective Equipment and Outdoor Power Equipment sales teams;
- In samenwerking met Sales het bedrijf vertegenwoordigen op conferenties, beurzen en netwerkevenementen.
Jouw ervaring en eigenschappen:
Je hebt je bewezen commerciele ervaring en specialistische productkennis opgedaan in gereedschappen. Commercieel handelen en ondernemerschap zit in je bloed; een proactieve eigenzinnige doener die prestatiegericht werkt, nauwkeurig plant in tijd en die goed de eigen werkzaamheden kan organiseren. Je hebt durf, ziet kansen en bent creatief en oplossingsgericht, werkt zelfstandig en functioneert collegiaal in een commercieel team.
Jij kent je markt en bent in staat om je bestaande en ook nieuwe relaties aan te boren. Je communiceert oprecht, open en duidelijk en beschikt over een natuurlijk enthousiasme met doorzettingsvermogen en zelfvertrouwen. Je hebt uitgebreide ervaring met forecast-, contract- en margebeheer en goede kennis van Microsoft Office-software. Je hebt een uitstekende kennis van Nederlands en Engels en je bent woonachtig in de regio en beschikt over een geldig rijbewijs.
