Role Description: The Sales Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, TX. This role is responsible for overseeing logistics operations while driving sales growth and building strong relationships with shippers and carriers. Day-to-day tasks include managing shipment coordination, optimizing routes and costs, monitoring service levels, and resolving operational issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Sales Logistics Manager will identify new business opportunities, prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate rates and terms, and maintain an active pipeline of prospects. The role also involves analyzing performance data, preparing reports, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue.

Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate effectively with clients, drivers, and internal teams.
  • Proven Sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation, and account management in logistics or related industries.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles, including planning, sourcing, and distribution processes.
  • Hands-on Logistics Management experience, such as freight coordination, route optimization, and carrier management.
  • Experience using transportation or logistics management systems and proficiency with common office software tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret KPIs, and make decisions that improve operational performance and profitability.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation services is highly beneficial.
