Allegiance Crane & Equipment is a top employer in the crane industry and currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in the Houston, TX location.

Position Summary
The Dispatcher is responsible for the daily coordination and scheduling of all cranes, operators, riggers, and drivers according to our customers' expectations.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Schedule cranes and operators for daily & long-term projects, as needed using the Visual Dispatch system.
  • Maximize utilization and efficiency of equipment and labor pool based on availability for profitability.
  • Minimize labor related overtime by aggressive and proactive scheduling practices.
  • Ensure that proper job tickets are submitted by the operators on a daily basis.
  • Prepare crane load-outs and accompanying trucking needs prior to crane departures
  • Communicate and interact actively with operations manager for maximum efficiency with labor force and in-house operation requirements.
  • Communicate with management as necessary regarding input which may increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Represent Allegiance Crane with professionalism and dignity in all communication(s) with customers.
  • Regular communication in person with other staff members in the office.
Requirements
  • Min 2 years' experience in a dispatch role
  • Crane & Rigging experience preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA laws and regulations required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Some weekend work required.
