UACL Logistics provides trucking solutions: Flatbed, Van, Over Dimensional, Oilfield, Reefer and Logistics Services throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. As one of the strongest truckload carriers in the nation UACL Logistics, LLC has the ability to provide transportation services for our customers, agents, and owner operators. Job Summary:

The Terminal Manager oversees the operations of a logistics terminal dedicated to the transportation and handling of wind turbine components. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant movement of oversized and sensitive cargo such as blades, towers, and nacelles. The manager coordinates with internal teams, external carriers, and regulatory agencies to maintain high standards of operational excellence and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

•Manage daily terminal operations including scheduling, loading/unloading, and equipment handling for wind turbine components.

•Supervise terminal staff including Fleet Managers and Coordinators

•Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and state-specific regulations for oversized and heavy-haul transport.

•Coordinate with project managers, manufacturers, to align delivery schedules with site readiness.

•Oversee maintenance of specialized equipment such as blade trailers, tower section carriers.

•Develop and implement safety protocols for handling large and fragile components.

•Monitor KPIs including turnaround time, damage rates, and cost efficiency.

•Prepare operational reports and present performance data to senior management.

•Manage relationships with vendors, escort services, and regulatory bodies.

•Lead route planning efforts to accommodate turning radii, bridge clearances, and road restrictions.
