Job description

Manage operations for the Toledo FCA Transport Terminal. Responsible for meeting customer demands through overseeing manpower, facilities, and equipment for a three-shift operation based in Toledo Ohio. The Terminal Manager of FCA Transport Toledo is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Toledo terminal.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Fleet Management of 34 tractors, 12 switchers & 120 trailers
  • Leading 3 salary, 81 Drivers, and 5 skilled trades employees including employee engagement, recognition, community service events, etc
  • Full financial responsibility including CSI, OT reduction initiatives, operating budget, maintenance costs, etc
  • Labor relations - interacting with UAW local 12 on various labor concerns
  • Meeting EH&S targets including ISO 9000/14001 compliance and other sustainability /environmental initiatives
  • Fully understanding and meeting customer demands
  • Meeting operational efficiencies for bothmanpower and equipment

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience leading a production/manufacturing/MLM/transportation operation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Understanding of statistics and finance
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to data mine
