Position Overview: As a 911 Dispatcher for the City of Jersey Village, you will be responsible for receiving emergency calls, assessing situations, and dispatching appropriate Police, Fire, and EMS personnel to the scene. This critical role requires quick thinking, effective communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer emergency calls promptly and gather essential information.
  • Assess the nature and severity of each call to determine appropriate response.
  • Dispatch Police, Fire, and EMS units to emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers when necessary, including CPR and first aid.
