Job Summary
Health Quest EMS, LLC is providing local and long distance non-emergency transportation. We are focused on customer satisfaction and high quality patient care.
This position serves as the main line of communication between our staff and our customer, and reports directly to the Dispatch Supervisor. Dispatching and call taking are two of the essential components of the position.
Qualifications and skill requirements are listed below.
  • Possess high standard of ethical conduct
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to handle stressful or difficult situations
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Ability to interpret and understand information including incoming non-emergency telephone calls, protocols, regulations, and
  • Knowledge of the surrounding geography as to determine the most efficient response time
  • The ability to understand, read, and interpret maps
  • The ability to operate computer aided dispatching system
  • Maintain prompt and regular attendance
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Maintain a highly organized approach to work
  • Ability to prioritize decisions based on multiple criteria and identifiable standards of policies and procedures
  • Determine the nature and location of the transport; determine priorities, and dispatch units as necessary and in accordance with established procedures
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Perform related work as required
