Dispatch & Payroll Coordinator $23-$30 DOE Our client, a trucking transportation company, is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatch & Payroll Coordinator to support daily fleet operations. This role is responsible for coordinating driver dispatch, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate operational records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives under deadlines, and is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced trucking environment. Key Responsibilities Dispatch drivers and coordinate routes/loads to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Communicate with drivers throughout their routes to relay schedules, load changes, and updates Process driver payroll accurately and on time, including mileage, hours, and settlements Perform data entry related to dispatch logs, load information, driver records, and payroll Maintain accurate, organized records for compliance, payroll, and dispatch history Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or payroll discrepancies Coordinate with drivers, customers, and internal staff to ensure smooth daily operations Support additional administrative and back-office tasks as needed Qualifications Previous dispatching experience required (trucking/transportation industry preferred) Payroll processing experience required Experience with PCS (trucking dispatch/TMS software) a must Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment Proficient in data entry with strong typing/computer skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure 1+ years in trucking dispatch or fleet operations Experience with payroll systems and driver settlement processes Familiarity with DOT regulations and hours-of-service (HOS) rules is a plus Apply online or at our office: Express can help you find the job that is a good fit for your needs and abilities, and you’ll never pay a fee for our services and support.
