We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a Dispatch Manager at SRM Concrete. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment and is ready to lead daily operations while ensuring exceptional service and efficiency.
The Dispatch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day dispatch operations at the plant, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of concrete while maintaining strong communication between customers, drivers, and plant personnel. This role plays a key part in driving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and support dispatch personnel and drivers, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient scheduling and on-time delivery of concrete.
  • Coordinate closely with plant managers, drivers, and sales teams to meet customer demands.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and resolving any delivery or scheduling issues.
  • Monitor workloads, routes, and delivery schedules to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Track and evaluate key performance metrics to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance dispatch operations.
  • Conduct team meetings, training, and performance evaluations to support employee development.
