Support Engineer II (Hybrid – Kansas City Area)

We are seeking a Support Engineer II to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical issues, and takes pride in delivering a high level of service to clients.

This is a hybrid position, with approximately 70% remote work and 30% onsite client support within the Kansas City area.

What You’ll Do

As a Support Engineer II, you will serve as an escalation point for technical issues and play a key role in maintaining and improving client environments.

  • Provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from Tier I support
  • Support clients via phone, remote tools, and onsite visits
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across a variety of environments
  • Perform user administration and support within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Assist with network troubleshooting, including firewalls, switches, and wireless environments
  • Recommend and implement hardware and software improvements to enhance client performance and security
  • Document issues, resolutions, and processes clearly and accurately within the ticketing system
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to long-term solutions and process improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills across Windows environments
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and basic firewall configurations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
