Who We Are
Welcome to TELUS Digital - where innovation drives impact at a global scale. As an award-winning digital product consultancy and the digital division of TELUS, one of Canada's largest telecommunications providers, we design and deliver transformative customer experiences through cutting-edge technology, agile thinking, and a people-first culture.
With a global team across North America, South America, Central America, Europe, and APAC, we offer end-to-end expertise across eight core service areas: Digital Product Consulting, Digital Marketing Services, Data & AI, Strategy Consulting, Enterprise Technology, Enterprise Applications, Cloud Engineering, and QA & Test Engineering.
From mobile apps and websites to voice UI, chatbots, AI, customer service, and in-store solutions, TELUS Digital enables seamless, trusted, and digitally powered experiences that meet customers wherever they are - all backed by the secure infrastructure and scale of our multi-billion-dollar parent company.
Location & Flexibility
This role can operate remotely within the US (we are prioritizing candidates based on the US West Coast) OR be based out of one of our major US office locations - Charlottesville, VA, Durham, NC, Columbus, OH, or Boston, MA.
The Opportunity
TELUS Digital is at the forefront of enabling the next generation of AGI/GenAI clients focused on acquiring high-quality, curated data for foundational models. Because of the intensity of evolution in this space, our team is growing and looking for a Senior Account Executive, AGI/GenAI Builders within the AI Data Foundry team, to own and expand a portfolio of core client accounts while driving net-new market opportunities.
Our service offerings span the breadth of what modern AI development demands. On the Generative AI side, we partner with clients to build human-aligned datasets for fine-tuning and evaluating large language models, supporting workflows including Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), red teaming, and bespoke dataset creation across more than 20 domains and 100 languages. We deliver data for AI & robotics to help robotics labs with sensor setups, hardware integration, foundational training/simulations, and real-world interactions. In the arena of data for search & ads we leverage two decades of experience in delivering uninterrupted data that powers the world's leading search and content platforms. Rounding out our portfolio, we offer a library of off-the-shelf datasets purpose-built for training and evaluating LLMs, computer vision models, and audio AI systems, providing clients with accessible, cost-effective solutions ready for immediate integration.
Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, AGI/GenAI Builders, you will be an individual contributor who thrives in complex, high-value enterprise sales environments. You'll build deep executive relationships with AGI/GenAI Builder clients, develop tailored account strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor across TELUS Digital's AI data training offerings. You'll operate as a key member of the pod - contributing to client market planning, pipeline development, and go-to-market execution in close collaboration with sales leadership, marketing, and solutions teams.
If you are energized by the market evolution around AGI/GenAI Builders and excel at navigating complex sales motions with consultative precision, this role was built for you.
Responsibilities
Direct Sales Execution
  • Own and advance a pipeline of large, complex enterprise deals, leading all stages from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close.
  • Build trusted, consultative relationships with executive, technical, and operational stakeholders across multiple business units within target client accounts.
  • Develop and execute tailored account strategies that drive net-new revenue, client account expansion, and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Lead strategic deal planning, including mutual close plans and executive alignment strategies, with a deep understanding of enterprise AI maturity and data annotation requirements.
Strategic Partnerships & Go-to-Market Alignment
  • Partner closely with Solutions Architecture and Delivery teams to craft compelling, technically credible value propositions tailored to the specific needs of AGI/GenAI Builder clients.
  • Act as the voice of the client internally, translating enterprise insights into actionable input that shapes product roadmap priorities, research direction, and delivery execution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align on campaigns, competitive messaging, and integrated strategies that accelerate pipeline generation and support sales objectives.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving client needs to bring proactive, informed perspectives to client conversations.
Operational Excellence & Forecasting
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene, forecast accuracy, and account health reporting using Salesforce and associated sales tools.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with the Senior Sales Director on deal status, risk factors, and growth opportunities within your portfolio.

Competencies
Experience & Track Record
  • 5+ years of Data & AI sales, with at least 1-2 years focused on selling AI Data Training services to AGI/GenAI Builders.
  • Demonstrated ability to personally close and expand high-value enterprise deals ($3M-$5M+), with a strong command of consultative and solution-based sales methodologies.
  • Experience building and executing long-term account strategies that deliver sustained, compounding revenue growth.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding individual revenue targets across a portfolio of large, complex enterprise accounts.
Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional executive presence with strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; able to engage credibly with stakeholders at the C-suite level.
  • A consultative, client-first mindset with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence cross-functional stakeholders both externally and internally.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop executive-level materials, ROI-driven business cases, and compelling strategic narratives.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex deals simultaneously without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in enterprise sales processes and CRM platforms, with Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
Domain Knowledge
  • Significant knowledge of AGI/GenAI development workflows and AI data training services.
  • A genuine technical curiosity and the ability to engage meaningfully with technical buyers and solutions teams.
