The Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, mentoring, and management of a team of employees across multiple technical disciplines. This role focuses on driving organizational growth, technical innovation, and operational excellence while ensuring alignment with company and client objectives. The Director provides high-level direction, influences organizational strategy, and fosters collaboration across divisions to achieve sustained growth and technical excellence. This position requires advanced leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Organizational Growth:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to teams across multiple technical disciplines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Establish employee and internal client satisfaction as primary professional business goals.

Project and Program Oversight:

  • Oversee successful project and program execution, including strategic resourcing, staffing, and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Program and Project Managers to ensure delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
  • Provide high-level technical input and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) when required.


Workforce Development and Planning:

  • Lead recruiting efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring optimal workforce alignment.
  • Develop and implement educational and training strategies to adapt to evolving technologies, markets, and external challenges.
  • Actively promote the development of new competencies and provide effective mentoring and coaching to subordinates.
  • Support employee development initiatives to enhance technical capabilities and organizational effectiveness.


Resource Optimization and Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure the optimal application of technology, engineering policies, and other resources to meet program requirements.
  • Develop detailed and accurate labor forecasts to meet organizational goals and application rates.
  • Deliver direct labor goals in alignment with program managers to meet division objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Business Development and Strategic Initiatives:

  • Provide technical input and resources for business capture efforts and proposals to support new business initiatives.

  • Experience supporting business development efforts, including proposal writing and capture management.
