A Remote Telus job is a position with TELUS or its subsidiary, TELUS International, that allows employees to work from home or other remote locations. These roles can range from customer service and technical support to AI data annotation and linguistic analysis. Remote Telus jobs offer flexibility, competitive pay, and opportunities to work with global teams. Requirements vary by role but may include internet connectivity, specific language skills, or prior experience. Many positions are freelance or contract-based, giving workers the freedom to manage their schedules.

What does a typical workday look like for a Remote Telus employee?

A typical workday for a Remote Telus employee may involve handling customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, assessing digital content, or supporting clients depending on your specific position. You will collaborate virtually with team members, attend scheduled meetings, and use various digital platforms to track and report on your work. The role is structured with set shifts or flexible hours, and you'll be expected to manage your time effectively while meeting performance goals. This remote setup allows for a comfortable home office environment but requires strong discipline and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Telus position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Telus employee (such as a remote Customer Service Representative or Ads Assessor), strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in English (and other required languages) are essential, often supported by relevant experience or education. Typical systems and tools include customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, online communication tools, and sometimes proprietary evaluation software, with training often provided and, in some cases, certifications in digital literacy or customer service are valued. Standout soft skills include adaptability, self-motivation, time management, and the ability to work independently within a virtual team. These skills are crucial to ensure high-quality service, meet performance targets, and successfully collaborate with remote colleagues in a flexible work environment.
