Summary:
Actively partners with the Executive Director, Privacy Operations for implementation and facilitation of the system's compliance and HIPAA program to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state privacy laws and regulations. Assists in the management of day-to-day operations of the department. Partners with the Executive Director, Privacy Operations on conducting privacy investigations and assessments. Assists in developing strategies to ensure the privacy program satisfies Broward Health's organizational and regulatory requirements.
Education:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Essential:
* Three Years
Credentials:
Essential: Certification in Health Care Privacy Compliance (CHPC) or Health Care Compliance (CHC) required or obtained within 18 months from date of hire.
