Job Summary

The Privacy Compliance Consultant will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and management of the enterprise-wide Privacy Office. They will serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to the enterprise on privacy matters; assisting the Senior Privacy Leadership in overseeing and leading activities related to the compliance with privacy policies and procedures. This role serves as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, partnering across business, compliance, legal, and technology teams to ensure privacy requirements are embedded into day-to-day operations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maturity of an enterprise-wide privacy program aligned with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Drive consistency in the application of privacy requirements across business units and functional areas
  • Provide practical, risk-based guidance to business units on privacy practices, compliance requirements, and emerging privacy and AI risk.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business practices and operational controls. Provide operational guidance on global and US privacy regulations, including HIPAA, CPRA/CCPA
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote proactive engagement on privacy matters. Partner with cross-functional teams to embed privacy into new and existing initiatives.
  • Support development of privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential privacy risks

Skills and Background You'll Need:

Education: Bachelor's degree (required) / Graduate coursework (preferred)

Experience:

  • 6-8 years of compliance-related experience, including project management
  • CIPP (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge and application of HIPAA (required), CPRA (preferred), GDPR (preferred)
  • Privacy program development (strongly preferred)
  • Prior experience supporting or building privacy programs and governance structures.
  • Prior experience reviewing, and reporting on the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management within the Privacy space.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

$109,750.00 - $160,500.00
