Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Lead and innovate the social media and video content strategy for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen.
  • Oversee and mentor the social and video teams, setting goals and monitoring performance to meet KPIs.
  • Stay ahead of digital and social trends to ensure our platforms remain fresh, relevant, and engaging.
  • Create and execute strategic audience development plans across all social media platforms.
  • Launch and evaluate video series on platforms including YouTube and social, using performance insights to inform decisions.
  • Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to align content with brand voice, tone, and initiatives.
  • Drive a consistent, cross-platform strategy with clear direction and measurable goals.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Editorial Operations to streamline workflows and optimize production resources.
  • Establish a cohesive visual and tonal identity across all social and video content in collaboration with the Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director.

The base salary for this role is between $133,000 - $145,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
