Team Overview

The Leadership Development Manager sits within TransUnion's Talent and Culture Center of Excellence (COE), responsible for building enterprise-wide leadership capability that enables business strategy execution. This team partners closely with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and other COEs to embed consistent leadership expectations, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and support organizational transformation. The role reports into the Talent and Culture COE leadership. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

  • This role exists to build and scale leadership capability across TransUnion by translating enterprise strategy into cohesive, practical development approaches that strengthen leadership effectiveness, cultural alignment, and organizational readiness
  • Advise on and execute TransUnion's enterprise leadership development strategy in alignment with business priorities and leadership philosophy
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs across all levels, from first-time managers through executive leaders
  • Embed and evolve the leadership competency framework across programs, leader expectations, and leadership culture
  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to diagnose leadership capability needs and translate them into targeted, scalable development solutions
  • Lead the design and facilitation of executive and senior leader development experiences, including cohort programs, leadership forums, and immersive learning sessions
  • Establish and apply leadership assessments and diagnostics, including 360 feedback, to inform development strategies
  • Design and oversee executive coaching approaches and coaching engagements that support leadership growth, transition, and effectiveness
  • Facilitate leadership team effectiveness engagements, including diagnostics, session design, and senior-level facilitation
  • Translate external research, trends, and best practices into practical leadership development solutions
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and COE partners to ensure leadership development efforts are integrated across the talent ecosystem
  • Contribute to measurement and evaluation of leadership development impact, using data and insights to continuously improve outcomes

    Required Knowledge and Experiences

    • 5-7+ years of leadership development experience designing and delivering enterprise and executive-level solutions, enabling scalable leadership capability
    • Strong command of leadership competency frameworks and ability to apply them across diverse leader populations
    • Proven ability to influence and advise senior and executive leaders without direct authority to drive leadership effectiveness
    • Expertise in leadership assessments, 360 feedback, executive coaching models, and leadership diagnostics to support leader growth
    • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to diagnose issues, synthesize insights, and recommend practical, business-aligned solutions
    Required Technical Skills
    • Experience with leadership assessment tools such as 360 platforms, Hogan, Korn Ferry, or similar solutions
    • Proficiency in learning design and facilitation tools and methods, including virtual platforms and workshop design
    • Ability to use data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI to measure impact
    • Familiarity with HR systems and talent platforms such as Workday or SuccessFactors

    Pay Scale Information:The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
