Regional Sales Director - Automotive

Your role on the team: (job description)
  • Develop and execute the national strategy for the Automotive vertical to achieve revenue, margin, and market share goals.
  • Lead business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, responding to RFPs/RFQs, and winning major automotive contracts
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key automotive clients
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance teams to design and implement tailored 3PL solutions that meet automotive demands for quality, delivery precision, and cost efficiency.
  • Travels up to 50%
  • Other duties as required and assigned

What you need: (requirements)
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics/supply chain, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • Deep expertise in the automotive industry, including OEM/Tier supplier logistics, JIT/JIS processes, finished vehicle transportation, and parts sequencing.
  • Proven track record in 3PL or logistics service provider environment, with success in client acquisition and account growth.
  • Strong understanding of automotive supply chain challenges (e.g., volatility in demand, quality requirements, global sourcing)
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing P&L and driving financial results in a vertical-specific business unit.
