Job description

The Development Operations Coordinator plays an important role on the Danforth Center's fundraising team with a focus on data maintenance/integrity, analysis, gift processing, and reporting needs. The position reports to the Director of Development Operations and works closely with other team members serving in leadership, administrative, frontline fundraising, and communications roles.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining CRM data integrity through proactive/regular maintenance and data clean-up
  • Assisting in the production of lists and associated correspondence in support of fundraising solicitations, engagement events, digital marketing, and surveying efforts
  • Performing routine and complex gift entry including batch processing, pledge creation, gift adjustments, and payroll deductions
  • Serving as a backup for the auditing and approval of gift batches
  • Assisting in the preparation and creation of new reports and dashboards
  • Supporting the modification of gift entry and acknowledgment processes and procedures
  • Entering and updating data on constituent, action, membership, participant, and proposal/opportunity records
  • Creating and updating queries and exports in Raiser's Edge
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT
  • Knowledge of IRS guidelines on processing and acknowledging gifts, pledges and gift intentions
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Query, Power Automate & Power BI
  • Experience with Crystal Reports
  • Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Query, Power Automate & Power BI preferred
  • Experience with Crystal Reports preferred
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work occasional evenings in support of fundraising events

  • Minimum 3 years of fundraising CRM management experience
