Position Summary

Stage Front Tickets is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Product Development to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of product initiatives across our technology platform.

This leader will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure our products solve real customer challenges while supporting the company’s strategic objectives. The Director of Product Development will oversee the product development lifecycle, establish priorities, improve execution, and build strong relationships across the organization to deliver high-impact solutions.

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands how to balance customer needs with business priorities, and can translate complex operational challenges into scalable technology solutions.

ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap
  • Partner with executive leadership to define and execute the product roadmap aligned with Stage Front’s strategic goals.
  • Translate customer, operational, and market feedback into product initiatives.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Balance short-term business needs with long-term platform scalability.
Market Intelligence & Investment Analysis
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis of ticketing, marketplace, and adjacent technology platforms to identify opportunities, threats, emerging trends, and differentiators.
  • Develop competitive benchmarking frameworks to evaluate product capabilities, pricing models, customer experience, operational efficiency, and market positioning.
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations for major product initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, financial forecasts, risk assessments, and success metrics.
Product Development Leadership
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept through release.
  • Work closely with Engineering leadership to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Establish product development processes that improve speed, predictability, and transparency.
  • Monitor project progress, remove roadblocks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate productive discussions that align competing priorities across departments.
  • Ensure new product functionality is successfully adopted throughout the organization.
Customer Experience
  • Develop a deep understanding of ticket sellers’ workflows, challenges, and business needs.
  • Regularly engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset throughout product development.
  • Use data and customer insights to drive product decisions.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.

Product Operations
  • Define and manage KPIs that measure product performance, customer value, operational efficiency, and financial return.
  • Improve Agile planning, backlog management, release planning, and sprint execution.
  • Develop documentation standards and product governance practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and performance metrics.
  • Develop dashboards that provide visibility into product adoption, customer satisfaction, revenue contribution, cost savings, ROI, and ROC.
  • Establish a data-driven decision-making culture using customer insights, market intelligence, financial analysis, and operational metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or product development.
  • 5+ years leading high-performing product teams.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SaaS product development.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
Experience
  • Experience within ticketing, marketplace, ecommerce, fintech, or high-volume transaction platforms.
  • Experience with pricing, inventory management, fulfillment, or operational software.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven product development and workflow automation.
