Front End Developer
Work location: Remote
Project duration: 9 months with possibility of extension
Employment Type: W-2

Target hourly pay rates are: $50 to $80 an hour
About the Role:
This role has a clear job: translate designs into scalable, reusable code. The interesting part is that you're not just building for one product. You're building the foundation other teams build on.
The work lives at the seam between design and engineering, translating UX concepts into production-ready interfaces while also helping define the reusable components and patterns that our development teams will depend on. Not just building things. Building the way we build things.
What You?ll Do:
Development & Implementation
? Build and maintain modern front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript
? Develop modular, reusable UI components with SCSS, adhering to front-end best practices
? Translate wireframes, prototypes, and Figma design files into responsive, production-ready interfaces
? Ensure all interfaces meet ADA accessibility standards and perform consistently across browsers and devices
? Contribute to micro front-end architecture and native/module federation strategies
Design System & Standards
? Help maintain and extend a shared design system and UI component library
? Contribute to layout, interaction patterns, and visual refinement to uphold interface quality
? Partner with designers to ensure accurate, faithful implementation of design intent
Collaboration & Process
? Provide front-end support across multiple development teams and projects simultaneously
? Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to solve problems with a user-first mindset
? Troubleshoot issues and drive ongoing front-end performance improvements
? Identify opportunities to use AI-assisted tools to improve development workflows and productivity
What You?ll Bring
Required
? Proven experience as a Front-End Developer building modern web applications
? Deep hands-on expertise with Angular and TypeScript
? Strong command of SCSS/CSS architecture, theming, and scalable component styling
? Solid understanding of ADA accessibility requirements and accessible development practices
? Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces for mobile and desktop
? Experience working in both Agile (Azure) and ad-hoc workflows
? Experience with micro front-end architecture and native or module federation
? Familiarity with Figma for reviewing designs and working from developer specifications
? Experience working within or contributing to a design system or shared component library
? Strong communication and collaboration skills across design and engineering teams
Nice to Have
? Experience in a centralized design team supporting multiple product teams
? Background in scaling or operationalizing a design system across products
? Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tool
? Enterprise environment experience with evolving priorities and varied project scopes
Work Environment
This role is part of an emerging UIUX design team with real opportunities to help shape the experience of client applications. You will support multiple teams and products, which means variety is constant ? you should be comfortable shifting between structured implementation work and open-ended problem solving. We value adaptability, craftsmanship, and a genuine care for the end-user experience.
