Job Title: AS/400 Developer Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid/Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled AS/400 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in RPG programming and related AS/400 technologies. This position involves development, testing, support, and documentation in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain applications using AS/400 technologies: RPG400, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE
  • Define test plans and conduct unit and string testing
  • Provide post-implementation support and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues based on their impact and urgency
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with AS/400 platform, including: RPG400, RPGILE, CLLE, SQL400, SQLRPGLE, DB2/400
  • Strong knowledge of change management tools such as: TURNOVER, TAATOOL, HAWKEYE
  • Familiarity with Web Service development on AS/400 is preferred
  • Understanding of Integrated File System (IFS) and AS/400 networking concepts
  • Experience in application design, complex coding, and application testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of technology architecture principles
  • Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Travel domain is a plus
