Position Title: AS 400 Developer

Location: Greensboro, NC

Hire Type: Full Time Only  

Job Description:-

IBM iSeries (AS/400) programming experience, specifically someone with experience in the following areas: 

RPG, ILE RPG 

Control Language 

DDS 

Screen Design 

Subfile processing 

DB2/400 database 

SQL knowledge is mandatory

Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for analyzing and identifying a resolution for the production defects, consistently meeting the defined SLA. 

- Responsible for creating queries and scheduling a datafix for the database administrator to execute 

- Responsible for coding temporary fix programs for bulk datafixes 

- Responsible for making code changes, getting necessary code review sign-offs, QA and UAT sign-offs and scheduling the promotion. 

- Responsible for preparing artifacts as defined by the client based on the resolution type.


Generic Managerial Skills

Excellent communication (written/verbal) skills. (The person will need to work closely and often with business users and should be self-sufficient)
