Job Summary

  • Develop, maintain, and support business-critical AS/400 COBOL and RPG-based applications, adding strong legacy support to the team
  • Deep understanding of DB2 databases; creating and maintaining data models, and troubleshooting/tuning advanced SQL performance issues on the iSeries platform.
  • Extensive experience in analyzing, debugging, and resolving complex batch processing and interactive application issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and modernization teams to integrate AS/400 applications with modern distributed systems.
  • Experience in continuous integration/deployment processes specific to the IBM i environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiar with general office machines and proficient in standard MS Office tools"
