Our client is looking for a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer who can bridge the gap between DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and IT Security. This is not a traditional security role—we need someone who has built and supported modern DevOps environments and understands how to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is on-site in Draper, UT and is a direct hire opportunity.


What You'll Do

  • Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
  • Implement and maintain SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and IaC security tools
  • Partner with engineering teams to design secure cloud and application environments
  • Strengthen security across Azure DevOps, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure
  • Build centralized monitoring, logging, alerting, and threat detection capabilities
  • Lead vulnerability management efforts including scanning, risk assessment, and remediation tracking
  • Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend preventive controls
  • Help drive security governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives


What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of IT Security experience
  • 3+ years of DevOps Engineering experience
  • Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and software development environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security principles
  • Experience with vulnerability management, remediation, and security incident response
  • Hands-on experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)


Salary: $100k - $150k W2
