Depassement et defis stimulants
:

Sous la supervision de la Cheffe d'equipe / MACHLAB, le DevOpstravaillera dans un environnement dynamique inspire des methodes Agiles et sera amene a participer activement au developpement des outils internes utilises lors des tests automatises du CI. Ces outils accompagnent les developpeurs dans l'evolution de nos plateformes de simulation temps reel. Dans un contexte d'integration continue, vous allez accompagner les equipes logicielles dans toutes les phases de developpement des produits OPAL-RT.

Principales responsabilites
:

• Developper et faire evoluer des outils internes en Python, Groovy, Shell ou autres langages pertinents

• Automatiser les processus lies auxbuilds, aux tests, au deploiement et a la gestion des environnements

• Participer a la maintenance et a l'evolution des environnementsCIet autres outils DevOps

• Contribuer a la gestion de l'infrastructure virtuelle, incluant les machines virtuelles, les environnements on-premiseet les plateformes cloud

• Participer a l'administration et a l'amelioration des environnements virtualises, notammentProxmox, ainsi que des environnements Azure ou AWS

• Collaborer avec les equipes logicielles afin de comprendre leurs besoins en matiere de CI/CD, debuild-system et d'automatisation

• Participer a l'analyse et a l'amelioration des systemes debuild, des arbres de dependances et des processus de packaging logiciel

• Documenter les outils, processus et bonnes pratiques afin de faciliter leur adoption par les equipes

• Accompagner et former les utilisateurs dans l'utilisation des outils internes et des plateformes DevOps

• Collaborer en equipe dans un environnement Agile

Exigences:

• Scolarite: Baccalaureat en genie logiciel, informatique, genie informatique ou equivalent; ou toute autre experience pertinente

• Experience: 3 a 5 ans d'experience pertinente en DevOps, developpement logiciel, integration continue, automatisation ou gestion d'infrastructure

• Competences requises:

• Experience concrete avec des technologies d'integration continue telles que Jenkins, GitHub Actions,GitLabCI ou equivalent

• Bonne capacite a developper et maintenir des outils internes en Python, Groovy, Shell, Batch ou autres langages pertinents

• Bonne comprehension des pratiques DevOps, de l'automatisation et de la livraison logicielle

• Connaissance des environnements Linux et Windows

• Experience avec la gestion d'environnements virtualises et de machines virtuelles

• Connaissances en infrastructure on-premise, notamment avec des plateformes telles queProxmox, VMware ou equivalent

• Connaissances de base ou intermediaires des environnements cloud tels qu'Azure ou AWS

• Comprehension des systemes debuild, des chaines de compilation, des dependances logicielles et des processus de packaging

• Capacite a diagnostiquer des problemes complexes lies auxbuilds, aux environnements CI/CD ou a l'infrastructure

• Capacite a documenter clairement les solutions mises en place et a communiquer efficacement avec les equipes utilisatrices

• Connaissances linguistiques : Francais obligatoire . Anglais niveau fonctionnel oral et ecrit, pour la communication avec les collegues et partenaires hors Quebec.

• Competences recherchees: Autonomie, rigueur, curiosite technique, bonne communication interpersonnelle, esprit d'equipe et capacite a vulgariser des sujets techniques.

• Interet marque pour l'integration continue, l'automatisation, les systemes debuildet l'infrastructure de developpement logiciel.

Atoutssignificatifs:

• Connaissance des outils et langages suivants : Batch, Shell script, Git,Gitlab, Systemes d'exploitation Linux

• Experience avecProxmoxdans un contexte professionnel

• Experience avecKubernetes, Docker ou autres technologies de containerisation

• Experience avec des outils d'orchestration ou d'automatisation tels qu'Ansible,Terraform,OpenTofuou equivalent

• Experience avec des gestionnaires de dependances et de packages tels que Conan,Artifactory, Maven,npmou equivalent

• Connaissance des problematiques liees aux arbres de dependances, a la reproductibilite desbuildset a la gestion des artefacts

• Experience avec des environnements debuildcomplexes impliquant plusieurs plateformes, compilateurs ou dependances externes

• Connaissance des methodes Agile telles que Scrum ou Kanban

Achievements and stimulating challenges:

Under the supervision of the Team Leader / MACHLAB, theDevOpswill work in a dynamic environment inspired by Agile methods and willbe requiredto activelyparticipatein the development of internal tools used during automated CI tests. These tools support developers in the evolution of our real-time simulation platforms. In a context of continuous integration, you will support the software teams in all phases of the development of OPAL-RT products.

Main Duties:

• Develop and evolve internal tools using Python, Groovy,Shellor other relevant languages

• Automate processes related to builds, tests,deploymentsand environment management

• Participate in the maintenance and evolution of CI environments and other DevOps tools

• Contribute to the management of virtual infrastructure, including virtual machines,on-premiseenvironments and cloud platforms

• Participate in the administration and improvement of virtualized environments, includingProxmox, as well as Azure or AWS environments

• Collaborate with software teams to understand their needsregardingCI/CD, build systems and automation

• Participate in the analysis and improvement ofbuildsystems, dependencytreesand software packaging processes

• Document tools,processesand best practices tofacilitatetheir adoption by internal teams

• Support and train users in the use of internal tools and DevOps platforms

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent; or any other relevant experience

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, software development, continuous integration,automationor infrastructure management

• Required skills:

• Hands-on experience with continuous integration technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or equivalent

• Good ability to develop andmaintaininternal tools using Python, Groovy, Shell,Batchor other relevant languages

• Good understanding of DevOps practices,automationand software delivery

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments

• Experience managing virtualized environments and virtual machines

• Knowledge ofon-premiseinfrastructure, including platforms such asProxmox, VMware or equivalent

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cloud environments such as Azure or AWS

• Understanding ofbuildsystems, compilation chains, softwaredependenciesand packaging processes

• Ability to diagnose complex issues related to builds, CI/CDenvironmentsor infrastructure

• Ability to clearly document implemented solutions and communicate effectively with internal users

• Language abilities: French mandatory.. Functional English level, oral and written, for communication with colleagues and partners outside Quebec.

• Desired skills: Autonomy, rigor, technical curiosity, good interpersonal communication, teamspiritand ability to explain technical topics clearly.
