What is a department secretary?

Department Secretaries are administrative professionals who support the daily operations of a specific department within an organization, such as a university, hospital, or corporate office. Their responsibilities often include managing schedules, handling correspondence, organizing files, and assisting with departmental communication. They serve as a key point of contact between the department and other internal or external parties, ensuring that administrative tasks run smoothly.
