Job description

  • Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise (as arranged by management).
  • Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals/priorities assigned by store manager move with your “Ace Pace”.
  • Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
  • Restock merchandise displays as needed, watch end caps and side wings.
  • Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
  • Never tell a customer no without checking with a manager.
  • Watch for shoplifters and act, in line with Elder’s policy, that will discourage shoplifting.
  • Excellent customer service and interaction prevents shoplifting.
  • Respond to radio requests.

Other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
  • Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
  • Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
  • Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
  • Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.
