Professor Department Heads play a key role in maintaining academic standards and advancing the strategic goals of their department and institution.

What are some common challenges faced by a professor department head when balancing administrative duties with teaching and research responsibilities?

Many department heads find it helpful to set clear priorities and regularly reassess their workload to ensure both departmental and personal academic goals are met.
