We are a Dedicated Contract Carrier committed to providing reliable and efficient transportation solutions. Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated On-Site Manager to oversee our 24-hour, 5-6 day a week operation. The manager will work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with on-call responsibilities if the customer is operational. This role requires a hands-on approach managing a fleet of 23 tractors and drivers, and 100 trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate schedules for drivers and equipment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the customer, acting as the primary point of contact for any operational issues or concerns.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of drivers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct minor equipment troubleshooting to help reduce maintenance expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure all vehicles are in optimal working condition.
  • Handle any emergency situations that may arise, including after hours.

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry, particularly in management or supervisory roles.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform minor equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed
