In this critical leadership role as the Director of Dealer Services Sales for Ferris Commercial Mowers, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic growth initiatives, executing targeted marketing and service sales tactics, and delivering promotional programs to successfully achieve budgeted sales, market share, and unit profit growth goals. The Director engages in long-term strategic planning, complex business process optimization, and proactive budget management while interacting directly with end customers, distributors, dealers, the public, and senior management. This position will also lead initiatives to market.
You will do this by:
Strategic Leadership & Process Optimization:
Long-Term Planning: Participating in corporate strategic and long-term planning for service parts.
Methodology Development: Leading the development of sales methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and personnel.
Workflow Management: Engaging in the strategic planning and allocation of work across complex business processes.
Financial & Market Performance:
Fiscal Accountability: Monitoring, developing, and managing annual operating plans to ensure strict compliance with corporate requirements while maximizing revenue and profit growth goals.
Market Intelligence: Collaborating with whole goods Sales Managers and partner distr to analyze industry trends and potential opportunities within existing and new markets.
Dealer Base Optimization: Assessing the dealer base continuously to align business offerings with the evolving needs of customers.
Program Management & Execution:
Continuous Improvement: Fostering and drives continuous improvement programs by partnering directly with service sales, marketing teams, distributors and dealers.
Team, Stakeholder, & Operations Management:
Executive Collaboration: Interacting regularly with dealers, distributors, major customers, and key organizational stakeholders.
Market Expansion: Supporting new customer and dealer development in the assigned market while securing excellent ongoing customer support.
Complex Problem Solving: Resolving highly complex operational issues requiring an in-depth, analytical knowledge of company scenarios, data, and workflows.
General Accountability: Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
