Position: Data Entry Administrator (12-15 hours per week), On-Site

Reports To: Development and Special Events Manager

Job Description: Individual is responsible for various data entry tasks to support the Development Department. The job responsibilities vary week to week, depending on the need, and include but not limited to database entry, finance reconciliation, database cleanup, and processing of acknowledgment letters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation Initial Review: Proofread reports from Finance and Development and scan for potential issues, discrepancies, before handing it off for final review and confirmation
  • Assist updating Constituent Queue: Review and accept updates from Engage and NCOA, while scanning for potential duplicates
  • Assist database cleanup: Works in collaboration with Development Associate on merging duplicate records, updating deceased records, spot checking global changes and other tasks
  • Assist with the Honor and Tribute notification process; maintain the Salsa queue
  • Assist with editing and processing acknowledgment letters using the Salsa database
  • Assist in creating and updating donor information

Qualifications:

  • High School degree
  • Ability to learn a task with confidence, attention to detail and organization
  • Works well with others
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to keep client information confidential
  • A sense of humor
