Job description

Voxelmaps is seeking to hire a hybrid Developer amp; Data Process Engineer to support both our Research amp; Development and data processing operations teams. This is a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start date.
This position blends full stack application development with data pipeline and cloud infrastructure work, focusing on building scalable web platforms while supporting the processing, transformation, and validation of large datasets generated from mapping systems.
You must live in AUSTIN, TX or be willing to relocate, as this is an office-based role not remote.
What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain modern .NET-based web applications and APIs
  • Build and support data processing pipelines for large-scale mapping datasets
  • Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support application and data workflows
  • Develop and maintain frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot data processing workflows
  • Write and maintain automation scripts (Bash/Python)
  • Manage and deploy services using containerized environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Debug, test, and optimize both application code and data pipelines
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability
