Location: New York, NY (currently hybrid with up to 50% remote)

Your mission in the Data Analytics team:

The Director, Data Analytics will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of TouchTunes’ analytics strategy to foster an insights-led organization. This role will oversee the analytics and data science functions in establishing & maintaining business reporting via a variety of analytical tools, developing measurement frameworks for new and existing initiatives, and promoting a culture of data literacy & analytical rigor. The Director will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business and bring insights into action by enabling strategic decision-making and improving operational efficiency.

Analytics Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive analytics roadmap aligned with company priorities.
  • Work closely with Product leaders to conduct A/B tests and evaluate feature performance.
  • Partner with data engineer to manage the set up and maintenance of mobile events to support analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in FP&A, Marketing, Sales, Advertising and Business Development to plan data needs, KPIs & measurement for new strategic initiatives.
Insights Generation
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of analytics dashboards, reports, and insights to guide strategic and operational decisions.
  • Translate complex data findings and measurements into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing analytics team, including data analysts, data scientists, and functional analytics resources.
  • Promote a collaborative, well-balanced team culture that is results-driven, technically proficient and business-minded.
Data Infrastructure & Tools
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Architecture and IT to ensure analytics platforms and integrations meet business needs.
  • Shape a quickly evolving self-service analytics & visualization strategy by adopting AI-forward tools
Data Governance & Quality
  • Support data governance processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
  • Establish and monitor data quality standards that enhance trust in analytics outputs.
  • Drive adoption of data and analytics best practices across the organization.
Your profile: Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence, with at least 4 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Deep understanding of business performance drivers and ability to connect initiatives (pricing, marketing, etc.) and macro factors with movements in key drivers.
  • Strong skills in data visualization, statistical analysis, and persuasive storytelling with data.
  • Proven ability to translate technical, data-dense workstreams into clear conclusions & recommendations that drive business decisions.
  • Track record of championing end-to-end analytics for new or novel initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL or Python in a data science and/or analytics-oriented context.
  • Experience with a leading data warehouse/data lake solution (e.g.: Databricks, Snowflake, S3/Redshift).
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms, Marketing technology & product analytics tools (e.g.: Segment, Mixpanel/Amplitude, Braze/Appsflyer).
  • Practical understanding of analytical methodologies & measurement frameworks
  • Knowledge of emerging trends in AI-driven data management, analytics and insights generation.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Familiarity with interactive data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Amazon Quick Suite)
  • Experience working on or closely with a Data Engineering team
  • Experience with a mobile app-centric product

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $165,000-$185,000 USD.
