Job description

As a part of Fix Auto’s office team, the Customer Service Representative will assist customers with the collision repair process and possess the highest level of customer satisfaction and confidence in our services and shop.


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides customers, insurance partners, and team members with high-quality, individualized support. The CSR will be responsible for finalizing repair orders, concentrating on preparing the final bill, and playing a crucial role in Fix Auto Sherwood North as they provide customer confidence and help assist with daily duties to help ensure the shop is running efficiently. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service:

  • Answer phone calls and assist customers and vendors accordingly
  • Contact customers and book their vehicles for estimates and repairs
  • Work with towing companies to arrange vehicle tows and lot moves
  • Answers incoming calls and completes outgoing calls as needed
  • Finalize repair orders daily
  • Keep all files up-to-date daily
  • Document all conversations with customers and insurance representatives
  • Match estimates
  • Update customers on the process of their vehicle


Financials:

  • Bill insurance companies and arrange payment for the total loss of vehicles
  • Assist claims processors as needed with daily tasks such as checking deductibles, calling to get insurance assignments, etc.
  • Help with various account receivable and payable tasks
  • Prepare weekly bank deposits
  • Help with bi-weekly payroll
  • Shop Duties
  • Assist all technicians and back-end team members when support is needed
  • Cross-train with all members of the team to gain clear and accurate knowledge of the auto body process

The CSR may be responsible for other duties as needed.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

EDUCATION

High School Diploma.

Post-secondary education is considered an asset.


EXPERIENCE

Experience working in a customer service role

Experience working in the autobody industry


SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Customer service and professionalism skills

Ability to work independently 

Highly organized

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and read and interpret blueprints
