How would you feel about providing high-end, end-to-end aviation services while playing a key role in coordinating aircraft maintenance operations? A career where your organizational skills, aviation knowledge, and attention to detail directly contribute to keeping aircraft maintenance projects organized, compliant, and on schedule.

At Aviation Service Partners (ASP), we believe in empowering our team members and providing opportunities to grow while supporting some of the aviation industry's most demanding maintenance programs.

What You'll Be Doing

The Planning & Production Controller will be responsible for supporting aircraft maintenance projects from initial planning through final documentation and customer review.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and manage aircraft maintenance and storage schedules to ensure required inspections, preservation checks, and maintenance activities are identified, planned, and completed on time.
  • Issue paperwork for scheduled inspections and storage checks while proactively planning heavier maintenance requirements to minimize schedule impacts.
  • Generate and issue Routine Tasks for CAMO Work Orders.
  • Generate Non-Routine Tasks for discrepancies identified during inspections, maintenance activities, or customer audits.
  • Maintain and manage Routine and Non-Routine Tally Sheets, including assigning sequence numbers, tracking task status, and ensuring sequence logs remain accurate and current.
  • Monitor open discrepancies, deferred items, and outstanding maintenance actions to ensure they are properly tracked, prioritized, and closed in a timely manner.
  • Print, control, and distribute applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Structural Repair Manual (SRM), Task Card, and other supporting technical documentation required to perform maintenance activities.
  • Maintain awareness of technical publication, AMM, and task card revisions to ensure maintenance personnel are working from the latest approved documentation.
  • Review completed maintenance paperwork to verify tasks, CAMO Work Orders, inspection sign-offs, and required approvals have been properly completed.
  • Identify documentation discrepancies and coordinate corrections prior to submitting completed packages for customer review.
  • Scan and electronically archive completed task packages and supporting documentation into the designated file management system.
  • Maintain an organized and controlled paperwork system to ensure maintenance documentation can be quickly located, reviewed, and audited.
  • Maintain and manage required aircraft records and project logs, including the Humidity Indicator Log, ensuring records remain accurate, current, and available for customer review.
  • Coordinate closely with Materials and Purchasing personnel to ensure required parts, consumables, tooling, and support equipment are available for scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Identify potential material or tooling shortages that could affect aircraft schedules and communicate those concerns to project leadership.
  • Generate and distribute daily aircraft status reports in coordination with Technical Services.
  • Provide updates regarding aircraft status, open work packages, non-routine findings, material shortages, schedule impacts, and upcoming maintenance milestones.
  • Serve as a central coordination point between Production, Technical Services, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Representatives.
  • Communicate and coordinate issues affecting aircraft status, maintenance progress, documentation, materials, or project schedules.
  • Support customer audits, documentation reviews, and maintenance records requests.
  • Assist project leadership in tracking overall aircraft progress and identifying potential schedule or documentation concerns before they impact aircraft delivery.
  • Perform additional Planning, Production Control, Work Control, or Technical Records responsibilities as required to support aircraft maintenance operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning, production control, work control, technical records, or maintenance coordination.
  • Experience working with aircraft maintenance work packages, task cards, Routine and Non-Routine maintenance documentation.
