Customer Account Specialist - Hybrid Opportunity

Charlotte Corporate office is hiring a Customer Account Specialist who will join the Sales and Service team. The primary purpose of the Customer Account Specialist is to ensure customers receive the best service possible through the coordinating any special requests, and building strong relationships while maximizing profits. This position is the front line for customer interaction and account management. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is accustomed to working within a high-performance team. Salary up to $58,000, great benefits, and a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities of the Customer Account Specialist:

  • Receive and process orders in SAP order management system via inbound telephone calls, email, web, and EDI from B2B customers. Expedite as required to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Responsible for confirming order, product availability, delivery status using company guidelines and assigned distribution lanes.

  • Develop relationships to influence and drive sales of products and services.

  • Create action plan with external sales team

  • Research and eliminate pricing errors by ascertaining root cause.

  • Evaluate credit history and accept orders within credit limit for customers.

Qualifications of the Customer Account Specialist:

  • Strong computer literacy including full Microsoft Office suite

  • Bi-lingual skills are beneficial, but definitely not required.

  • Candidate should also have exceptional critical thinking, customer service, and communication skills.
