Tricon is seeking a Credit Analyst to be based at Tricon's global headquarters in Houston, TX. This position will offer a hybrid work arrangement and will report to the Credit Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage credit related activities for assigned products/regions
  • Assess and evaluate current and new business opportunities
  • Provide support to senior management in risk assessment and decision making
    Liaise with Traders, Customers, and Banks to discuss credit matters and resolve issues
  • Analyze customer financial statements to authorize or recommend credit limits
  • Request and review third party credit reports and credit references
  • Visit customers to assess credit worthiness
  • Monitor exposure, release orders and manage collections of their own portfolio
  • Prepare and review reports to monitor exposures
    Uphold internal credit policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a credit role
  • Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Highly analytical and able to problem solve
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Comfortable being assertive and making tough decisions
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Strong technical proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle BI, is a plus)
