Job description

About the team
At Turo, some of our most important growth opportunities sit outside the core guest business-from host marketing to partnerships to emerging new business lines. We're looking for a creative leader to help bring those opportunities to life.
As Manager, Host & Growth Creative, you will lead creative development for high-priority growth areas including host marketing, partnerships, and emerging business initiatives such as long-duration offerings. This role is designed for someone who can turn business needs into compelling creative opportunities-shaping stronger ideas, sharper positioning, and more impactful campaigns that drive growth.
You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, business, and partnership stakeholders to develop creative opportunities and connect them to the right execution partners-whether through Turo's in-house studio, agency teams, or external collaborators. This is a highly collaborative role for someone with strong creative instincts, business acumen, and the ability to build meaningful campaigns from ambiguity.
What You'll Do
Lead host creative development
  • Own creative development for host marketing initiatives globally
  • Transform host business needs into stronger campaign opportunities beyond transactional CRM and retention communications
  • Partner with host marketing teams to identify higher-impact storytelling and campaign moments that build pride, trust, and engagement among hosts

Drive growth business campaigns
  • Lead creative development for emerging business lines including long-duration products, cross-border travel, and future growth initiatives
  • Translate evolving business priorities into clear, compelling creative briefs and campaign frameworks
  • Identify scalable campaign opportunities that extend across paid, owned, earned, and partner channels

Shape partnership campaigns
  • Develop co-branded campaign concepts with strategic partners, including credit card, loyalty, and brand collaborations such as Uber
  • Build creative narratives that serve both Turo and partner business objectives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external collaborators to bring partnership campaigns to market

Turn briefs into better creative
  • Refine incoming briefs into stronger creative opportunities with clearer audience insight and messaging direction
  • Identify stronger storytelling angles before work enters production
  • Ensure work aligns to Turo's brand standards and business goals

Connect ideas to execution
  • Partner with Turo's creative studio and external agencies to bring campaigns to life
  • Match projects to the right creative resources depending on scope and complexity
  • Guide creative development through launch to maintain quality and impact

Your Profile
  • 5-8+ years in creative development, integrated marketing, brand marketing, partnerships marketing, or campaign management
  • Strong creative thinker with the ability to turn business needs into compelling campaign ideas
  • Excellent at shaping briefs and developing campaigns from concept through execution
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally across marketing, partnerships, and business teams
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building clarity where none exists
  • Strong creative judgment with the ability to elevate ideas through clear, actionable feedback
  • Experienced in integrated campaigns spanning multiple channels

For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $136,000 - $170,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We encourage you to talk with your recruiter to learn more about the total compensation and benefits available for this role.
Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. In general, Turo interacts with candidates through our Careers page and via turo.com email addresses, and we don't ask candidates for sensitive financial or personal info or request money as part of the hiring process (so an application fee or equipment costs). These tools only supplement our team; all decisions to advance or hire candidates are made by Turo employees. While we welcome candidates to use AI-enabled tools to help prepare for their interviews, the use of such tools, including any AI chatbots or note-takers, is not permitted during live interviews or technical assessments. If during the application process you require the use of an AI-enabled tool as a reasonable accommodation for a disability, please let us know at PeopleOps@turo.com.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary, equity, benefits, and perks for all full-time employees
  • Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (Country specific)
  • Retirement employer match

We are committed to building a diverse team. If you are from a background that's underrepresented in tech, we'd love to meet you.
Aside from an award winning work environment and the opportunity to be part of the world's largest car sharing marketplace, we are also growing the team quickly - join us!
