Responsibilities
We are seeking an award-winning social media ACD team - this role is for a Freelance Associate Creative Director (Copywriter) to help our Fortune 500 client find its authentic place and purpose in the social sphere. This is a role for a person who lives and breathes social and has helped major brands transform their approach through breakthrough content across platforms. Someone who is curious and takes the time to educate themselves on the latest trends.
As a Associate Creative Director (copy) for our social first team, you will be working on paid and organic social for a CPG Brand. Someone who are excited by social and are good at concepting and executing social-native work. AN ACD skilled at turning insights into meaningful ideas, deeply attuned to niche subcommunities, quick to recognize cultural trends, and immersed in the conversations(comment sections) shaping emerging social platforms.
Day to day, your role will include:
  • Help lead teams in the development and execution of everything from large-scale, multi-channel campaigns to small, one-time projects.
  • Understand the value of strategic insights, experiences and storytelling to create and sell your ideas.
  • Direct teams in execution with an appreciation and understanding of craft of both art direction and copywriting.
  • Partner with agency capabilities including strategy, media, DnA and tech to help inform the work.
  • Build relationships internally and externally.

Qualifications
We're looking for a talented Creative Associate Director with impressive work experience, which typically includes:
  • Four-year degree and at least six years at a competitive creative agency. Work should include strong brand-building, digital and multimedia experience, and a track record of successful creative work, along with experience working on cross-channel campaigns.
  • Craft clear narratives and goals for your team to deliver on quality work and foster a positive team
    culture
  • Energy, a sense of humor, and an open and curious mind - yes, these things really do matter. So does being straightforward, candid and, above all, respectful - of the work and your peers.
  • Awards are a nice bonus, but original breakthrough ideas and real creative problem-solving are even better.
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL• E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.
  • Excellent visioning (i.e. strategic writing for future outcomes) and narrative creation skills
  • Expert Social Writing and Content Strategy skills
  • Must be hands-on as well as mentor

Compensation Range: USD $51.34 - USD $73.75/Hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
