Job description

Job Title: Director, Creative Technology Location-Type: NYC/LA hybrid Start Date Is:ย ASAP Duration: (contract, perm, etc) 4 Month Contractย  Compensation Range:ย $70-80/hr W2 Benefits:ย Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorshipย .

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of the Creative Technology roadmap by identifying and prototyping AI-driven solutions for creative teams.
  • Build and test AI-powered internal tools, workflow automations, and rapid prototypes.
  • Partner with Creative teams to identify workflow bottlenecks and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Security, and Sales to validate, scale, and drive adoption of new capabilities.
  • Develop AI-ready knowledge management systems, content repositories, and creative workflow frameworks.
  • Establish AI best practices, governance, and standards for creative operations.
  • Measure adoption, workflow efficiency, and business impact of new technologies.
  • Present prototypes, gather user feedback, and iterate quickly to inform long-term product development.

Minimum Requirementsย 

  • Proven experience building AI-powered internal tools, prototypes, or workflow automations.
  • Background in media, entertainment, advertising, publishing, or a creative agency.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, Custom GPTs, MCPs, APIs, and AI automation platforms.
  • Experience building or managing knowledge management systems or AI-enabled content repositories.
  • Strong 0โ†’1 product mindset with rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration.
  • Experience partnering across Creative, Product, Engineering, Security, and Sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success improving creative workflows through AI or emerging technologies.
  • Comfortable coding prototypes independently and collaborating with developers to productionize solutions.
  • Ability to translate creative processes into technical requirements and drive internal adoption.
