Design Apprentice (Creative AI Specialist)

Movement Mortgage, LLC

Full-time

Job description

Join the company defining what it means to be an Impact Lender!
Mortgages are what we do, but that doesn't define who we are. In 2008, Movement disrupted the industry with the innovative 6-7-1 mortgage process. In 2023, we pioneered again, helping launch Impact Lending - a new category of lending. Any mortgage lender that commits at least 10% of its profits to helping the neighborhoods it serves is an Impact Lender.
At Movement, we are Impact Lenders. We give 40%-50% of our profits to making an impact in our communities. For us, purpose and people have always come before profit.
The Role
This is not a support role. It's a builder role.
We're looking for a creative apprentice who lives at the intersection of design, marketing, and AI. Someone who doesn't wait to be told which tools to use or how to work, but shows up asking "what's the faster, smarter way to do this?"
You will work in-office at our National Sales Support Center and partner closely with the Corporate Marketing and Field Marketing Support teams. Your job is not just to support Movement's sales team, but to actively improve the systems, workflows, and creative processes that power it.
If a new AI design tool launches, you're already testing it. If a workflow feels slow or outdated, you're rebuilding it. If someone says "this is how we've always done it," you hear that as an invitation.
You'll be mentored closely. You'll also be expected to teach us things we don't know yet.
What You'll Do
  • Design and implement AI-powered creative workflows that improve speed, quality, and consistency for field marketing support.
  • Actively evaluate emerging AI tools for design, copy, and creative production, then translate what matters into real use cases for the team.
  • Proactively bring new ideas to leadership on how creative work can be done better, faster, or differently.
  • Execute a wide range of marketing needs including graphic design, social content, email builds, onboarding assets, and light copywriting.
  • Triage and fulfill requests through a centralized intake process, using strong judgment to prioritize efficiently.
  • Consistently meet SLAs while maintaining high standards for brand, clarity, and quality.
  • Serve as a creative and strategic resource for loan officers and regional leaders, offering guidance, not just execution.
  • Coach field partners on best practices inside MORE, our marketing platform powered by Salesforce and Send360.
  • Lead and evolve marketing onboarding experiences for new loan officers.
  • Identify repeat needs and proactively build templates, systems, and AI-assisted solutions that reduce friction and rework.
  • Collaborate closely with other Field Marketing Specialists, Corporate Design, and Marketing teams.
  • Help shape the future of Movement's creative and marketing support model through experimentation and process improvement.

Who You Are
  • A creative builder who tests and iterates, not just executes.
  • Deeply curious about AI and already using it in your work.
  • Comfortable pushing beyond a job description when something better is possible.
  • Confident working directly with sales professionals, leaders, and executives.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and energized by variety and problem-solving.
  • Open to feedback and constantly looking for ways to level up your craft.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, design, or creative production.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to build and enhance creative output and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines including design, content, social, and platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and a consultative mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.

Even Better
  • Advanced Canva skills or experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, or marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience supporting sales teams or working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Mortgage or financial services experience.

The expected salary range for this position is between:
$56,000.00 - $87,200.00
The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
We also offer a benefits package that includes:
  • Competitive pay
  • Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Critical Care, Hospitalization, HSA, FSA, DCFSA and QTE
  • Retirement plan: 401(k) and Roth
  • Paid Time Off: 16 days front loaded. Prorated based on the start date month
  • 11.5 paid holidays per year
  • Employee assistance program
  • Excellent career growth opportunity
  • Fun, team-focused working environment
  • Employee driven community outreach program
  • Relocation packages available

The application window is anticipated to close on:
June 1, 2026
