Job description

Carpenter Apprentice

SUMMARY 

Mortenson is currently seeking a Carpenter Apprentice . 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

A. Setup trailers
B. Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, 
setup tool trailers and/or conex's, silt fences and/or straw bales, setup site per erosion control plan
C. Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
D. Assist journeyman and foreman with the shooting of grades and elevation
E. Unload, handle, stockpile, and erect of all pre-fabricated materials
F. Concrete and rough carpentry
1. Hand set Walls
2. Footings
3. Set Gang Wall Forms
4. Structural Concrete Decks
5. Drywall
6. Finish Carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware
7. Millwork and cabinetry
G. Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels 
H. All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 

Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements 

*Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.

The base pay range for this role is $24.58 per hour.
