Job description

Maverik Center is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Graphic Design Intern. This is a seasonal, part-time (June - November 30), paid internship in West Valley City, UT. Applicants must be current students in a 4-year degree program focused on graphic design or illustration. In this role, you will work with the marketing department to develop and execute concepts. This is a great opportunity for a talented student to gain professional experience, especially if you are able to take constructive criticism. While this is a part-time, paid, entry-level role, we expect applicants to have a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. You must submit a portfolio of work to be considered.
Graphic Design Intern Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct client research
  • Help develop and execute design concepts for physical and digital spaces
  • Complete projects within set deadlines
  • Assist with administrative tasks as necessary
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekly office hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as the schedule dictates.
  • 20 hours per week in-office
