We’re partnering with an innovative laboratory team seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Core Analyst I to support critical rock, reservoir, and laboratory testing operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with a science background looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience in a technical environment.

Position Overview

The Core Analyst I will perform laboratory testing focused on petrophysical work, rock mechanics, and flow studies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with scientific equipment, analyzing data, and collaborating within a technical team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory testing and record operating data from laboratory equipment
  • Utilize flow pumps, pressure gauges, balances, resistivity monitors, and laboratory instruments
  • Interpret scientific and geological data with accuracy
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks and technical documentation
  • Communicate testing results clearly with supervisors and clients
  • Support sample management and technical report writing
  • Assist with field work and material collection when required
  • Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related science preferred
  • Strong mechanical and logical reasoning skills
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory environment
