If you’re driven, passionate about leading reconstruction projects that restore more than buildings, and want ownership over outcomes that matter to customers, teams, and the business, apply today!

What You Do

As a Project Director for Kustom US, you own reconstruction projects from initial scope through final closeout, with full accountability for financial performance, operational execution, and customer experience. You lead complex rebuilds in fast-moving, high-stakes environments, bringing structure, clarity, and sound judgment to every phase of the project lifecycle. Working in close partnership with field leadership and cross-functional teams, you align scope, schedule, and resources, proactively manage risk and change, and ensure work is delivered to Kustom standards while protecting margin, timelines, and quality. You are successful in this role by:

    • Identifying project risks and opportunities early and implementing strategies to protect timelines, budgets, and outcomes
    • Ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and Kustom quality expectations
  • Owning Financial and Contract Performance
    • Developing, reviewing, and managing scopes of work, estimates, supplements, and change orders
    • Maintaining accountability for project budgets, forecasting, margin performance, and cost controls
    • Participating in Work-in-Progress reviews, revenue forecasting, and project closeout activities
    • Ensuring projects are accurately documented and prepared for timely and successful invoicing
  • Leading Customer Experience
    • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, adjusters, and key stakeholders
    • Setting, managing, and resetting expectations throughout the project lifecycle with clear, transparent communication
    • Proactively addressing concerns, scope changes, and challenges while keeping customers informed
    • Conducting post-project reviews to confirm satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Developing Teams and Operations
    • Recruiting, developing, and leading Superintendents and field construction teams
    • Partnering closely with Superintendents and Operations leaders to align scope, schedule, and execution
    • Promoting a collaborative, accountable, and solution-oriented team environment
    • Staying current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve delivery
What You Bring

You know how to balance financial discipline with customer trust, communicate clearly under pressure, and guide teams through complex reconstruction work. You also bring a strong understanding of insurance-driven reconstruction projects and know how to translate scopes, estimates, and construction documentation into clear, executable plans. You’re successful here because you bring:
