Construction Superintendent – Steel Erection

Full-Time | Travel Required | U.S. & International Projects

We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in steel erection to oversee the construction of large-scale warehouses and manufacturing facilities. This role requires extensive travel, with 1–3 long-term projects annually that can span several months and may include international assignments.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all on-site activities for massive steel and concrete warehouse/manufacturing projects.
  • Supervise crews and subcontractors in steel erection, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Manage schedules, logistics, and budgets while maintaining client and project team communication.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure strict compliance with construction standards.
  • Coordinate drawings, specifications, and field changes to keep projects on track.
  • Provide daily reporting and progress updates to leadership and clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in steel erection for large warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities – this is the highest requirement.
  • 5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience in steel building construction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel and live near job sites for extended periods (U.S. and international).
  • Proficiency in reading construction plans and schedules; familiarity with project management software (Procore or similar) is a plus.
