Job description

Position Overview

Dobco Inc. is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the construction of a new, state-of-the-art school facility at Dover Air Force Base, valued at $50 million. In this role, you will oversee daily on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors and crews, and ensure the project is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily construction activities on site.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to keep the project moving smoothly.
  • Monitor schedule, budget, and resources to support project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Air Force Base site rules.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
  • Communicate with Dobco project managers, engineers, and client representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a construction superintendent, foreman, or similar role on commercial or institutional projects.
  • Comfortable reading construction drawings and specifications.
