SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Senior Contracts Administrator at GDIT. Here, youll support solving some of our clients biggest challenges and help us grow the business.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior Contracts Administrator , you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Senior Contracts Administrator joining our team to support the fast paced growing portfolio of a highly diverse suite of federal civilian agencies of our DELTA+ business sector (Diplomacy, Environmental Protection Agency, Law Enforcement, Treasury Agencies, National Aeronautics and Space Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration +) in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. This position requires a clear communication style with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.

HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Administer contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, status reporting, and product delivery

  • Begin to provide advice on and interpretation of contract requirements, White papers, and capture strategy

  • Prepare/maintain RFP checklist and participate in the review and preparation of proposals including communication and scheduling details and coordination of requirements

  • Administer contractual elements of change management - Proposes and facilitates contract modifications and may lead negotiations when required

  • Coordinate contract requirement fulfillment with programs

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your Contract Administration expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Contracts Administrator must have:

  • Education: Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related Contracts Administration experience required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of related Contract Administration experience
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance
  • Role requirements:
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Experience with various contract types
    • Knowledgeof the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements
  • Location: This is a hybrid role working at our GDIT Facility located in Falls Church, VA. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week minimum.
  • US Citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $89,999. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
