Position Description

The IT Contract Analyst or IT Contract Manager position manages, negotiates, and oversees contracts covering technology services, software licensing agreements, cloud services, hardware acquisitions, and vendor relationships at Applied Medical. Also known as a technology contracts manager or vendor contract manager, this role protects company value while maintaining compliance with legal, financial, and corporate requirements. This position is available at the IT Contract Analyst or IT Contract Manager level, with placement determined by experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, revise, and negotiate commercial terms and legal provisions across master agreements, End User License Agreements (EULAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain a centralized contract management system, oversee document control and versioning, and track contract renewals and expirations for stakeholder visibility.
  • Participate in sourcing and vendor selection processes from a contract and compliance standpoint.
  • Verify that contracts comply with company policy, industry standards, and data privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
  • Identify and summarize legal and operational risks, vendor concessions, recommend solutions, and provide guidance on contract interpretation.
  • Support contract audits and assist with dispute resolution.
  • Develop and implement policies and workflows for contract management.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Information Technology teams to align contract terms with business objectives and risk tolerance.

  • Background in IT sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or a technology focused organization.
  • Supply chain or procurement management certification.
