Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and highly organized Technical Recruiter to join our fast-paced Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will own the full-cycle recruitment of Information Technology professionals across a range of enterprise client accounts managed through Vendor Management Systems (VMS). You will be a critical contributor to our ability to win placements in a competitive staffing environment, and your speed, precision, and candidate quality will directly impact our clients’ success.

This is a high-volume role that demands urgency, expertise in IT skill sets, and mastery of VMS platforms. If you thrive in a competitive environment, love the hunt for top talent, and understand the nuances of enterprise contingent workforce programs, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

•      Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT contract and contract-to-hire roles across multiple enterprise VMS accounts simultaneously.

•      Source, screen, and submit highly qualified candidates within tight VMS submission windows to maximize interview-to-submittal ratios.

•      Develop and maintain a deep pipeline of IT talent across disciplines such as software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data engineering, and more.

•      Partner closely with hiring managers (where accessible) to understand technical requirements and refine candidate profiles.

•      Navigate and optimize VMS platforms (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, Workday, Coupa) to ensure compliant, timely, and high-quality submissions.

•      Track and report on key recruiting metrics: submission-to-interview rate, fill rate, time-to-submit, and retention.

•      Negotiate candidate pay rates within client bill rate constraints while maintaining candidate satisfaction.

•      Collaborate with account managers to identify opportunities, respond to urgent requisitions, and grow our footprint within existing accounts.

•      Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS/CRM at all stages of the recruiting process.

•      Stay current on IT talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor activity to advise clients and strengthen candidate pitches.

What You Bring

•      3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a staffing agency or RPO environment.

•      VMS experience is required — you must have hands-on experience submitting candidates and managing requisitions through enterprise VMS platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Workday, Coupa, or equivalent.

•      Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume requisition loads (20+ open reqs at a time) with a sense of urgency and strong organizational discipline.

•      Proven track record of sourcing hard-to-fill IT roles with speed and quality.

•      Strong knowledge of IT terminology, role types, and technology stacks across at least 2–3 IT disciplines.

•      Experience recruiting in competitive, enterprise staffing environments with multiple vendor programs.

•      Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and applicant tracking systems.

•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can sell a role, handle objections, and set accurate expectations with candidates.

•      Analytical mindset — comfortable reviewing your own metrics and using data to improve your approach.

•      Self-starter with a competitive spirit who is motivated by performance and results.

Nice to Have

•      Experience in one or more specific IT verticals: software engineering, cloud/DevOps, data & analytics, or ERP systems.

•      Familiarity with rate card structures and bill rate negotiation within VMS programs.

•      Background in supplier diversity or experience working with MSP-managed accounts.

•      Staffing industry certifications (CSP, CTS, or equivalent).

Why Join Us

We are a focused, collaborative recruiting team that punches above our weight class. Our recruiters are specialists, not generalists — which means you’ll have real ownership over your accounts, direct relationships with the talent you place, and the ability to make a visible impact every day.

•      Competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure

•      Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits

•      3 Weeks of PTO + Paid Holidays

•      Collaborative, high-performance team culture with low bureaucracy and high autonomy

•      This role can be fully-remote, networking events required. Preference will be given to candidates local to Dayton and Cincinnati, OH.
